Is your work guaranteed?
We guarantee all our work. If you’re not happy, neither are we and we need to know so we can fix the problem asap for you. Our guarantee covers our work on your instruments from the time they are tested and dispatched to the time you first use them. If something is wrong, it is important that you let us know straight away. We will fix it and return it to you free of charge.

 

*What we don’t cover: Every practice is different. This means that the usage of instruments will vary greatly and consequently, so will the wear. Frequency of use, autoclaving and even things like orthodontic wires will dictate how much and how often your instruments need servicing and sharpening. We don’t cover instruments that become blunt again after weeks of use.

Are your scissors guaranteed?
All Shisato, Mirage, Royale, Debut, Dynasty, Kansai and Blue Ribbon shears are guaranteed FOR LIFE against faulty material or workmanship. All Yasaka shears are warranted through the Yasaka Seiki Company, Japan.
Do you give discounts?
We do give discounts for large numbers of instruments sent to us. Please call us to discuss.
Are you good at what you do?
We are. We are passionate about giving you the best for your instruments. We know how important they are to your business and ultimately, to your customers. We are always looking for ways to better our best. Feedback is very welcome!
What is the process for sending our instruments to you?
Instruments can be sent to us via Australia Post, Courier or International Mail. We encourage our Australian customers to wrap instruments well in bubble wrap or a box and use red Parcel Post or yellow Express Post mailing satchels for instruments. The service is reliable and secure and tracking numbers are provided. We use them to return your instruments and have never had a problem with this service. Courier services are also good. If you wish to use a courier, contact us for our street address as courier services do not deliver to PO boxes. We cannot stress enough the need to wrap your instruments well. Please autoclave your instruments before sending.
What is your sharpening turnaround time?
Within Australia, we aim for a maximum 5 day turnaround, which includes postage time for receiving your instruments and our return dispatch. This is dependent upon the volume of work we have and may vary, but we aim to be servicing and sharpening your instruments and despatching them back to you on the day we receive them. International customers may have to wait a little longer, but we still aim to work to the shortest time possible. If your job is urgent, a phone call or email to let us know helps so we can give it priority when it comes in.

*Please note if you want to purchase hair scissors with a cheque we reserve the right to have it cleared before we send your goods.  Invoices for sharpening and servicing of instruments are 14 day accounts. If you would like an extended pay period, please call us to discuss.
